    hc6345 sea star

    I have a 6345 Sea Star that has froze the rod thru the pivot so I need that rod. Thanks..

    if no one has one here call Boat Steering Solutions (941) 484-6060. I see them for sale but not sure they have the keys on the ones i have found (HP6016)

    Thanks. Great lead. They had it in stock for $43. Hell of a deal for a new piece. Now to get the bad one out of the motor. Probably not going to be as easy.

    AND..... This is the only place I can find that will sell me parts, SeaStar (Dometic) will only wants you to send them the ram to be repaired or changed.

    You might as well change it. You are probably going to have to pull the tilt tube and put it on a press to get it out. And it usually means the tilt tube is pretty rusty. You can get a good used stainless tube off eBay for around $30
