J/E 15hp or Merc 25 Remote throttle and start

Sorry guys, haven't been on here in quite a while but I need some advice and don't know of a better place to go.

I have an old B Class Runabout that I haven't run in a number of years. I have several super 10's and a 25ss to run on this boat, but would also like to make it a little more user friendly for a beginner to learn on.

I would love to find a short shaft 9.9 or 15 that has electric start and a cable throttle setup. I know they made some racing versions of these but trying to find one of those has become nearly impossible. Perhaps there is Hardware to rig up a keller throttle, which would be ideal, but I'm sure I can make a cable work.

Any leads, advice or reasonable alternatives would be greatly appreciated.
