    from what i remember the seams were not spot welded on the factory stuff. A continuous long bead weld. And its hard to tell but the factory stuff was also all stainless steel. Not sure what this one is.

    It is stainless steel, not magnetic so 300 series. This one was separated from the set which was sold years ago.... can't remember who bought them.

    I would agree. I do not see any noticeable seams or spot welds on the originals.
