Every helo pilot I talked to, when I worked offshore, told me their favorite helo was the MD 500. Suppose to be like a sports car in the sky.
Hope Garret takes his time getting to know that bird like the back of his hand. I don't know but it looks like it isn't very forgiving of a screw up with how maneuverable it is.Last edited by CDave; 07-30-2024 at 03:14 PM.

Yea should be interesting. I heard some racers saying the steeper torque curve of the "Pro-Charger 140mm" vs twin turbo's is better for big tire NPK cars in the 1/8th. Turbo's making a bit more at the traps. ProCharger certainly, looks like cleaner setup compared to all the plumbing on twin turbo's. I bet the car goes back to shop within two months to modify for big tire swapping. knowing Cleetus
