    Gel coat repair kit

I wana try to clean up some of the many years of modifications that were made to my recently acquired retirement project.
I am not a fiberglass or gelcoat guy by any means, but I wana fill in some of the holes and small scratches to clean it up a bit.
Any suggestions on small repair kits, like marine tex or others. Most if not all repairs will be made in the white gel coat.

YouTube BoatWorks today... he shows exactly how to do it, professionally.

If you just want to get r dun & not worried about exact color match/ perfectly sanded flat to where you cannot tell it has been repaired, then marine tex it.

You can marine tex that long gouge easily, the flat panel is gonna show the repair spots more

There is white or gray marine tex fyi.. get the white of course, and you can tint it with pigments to improve color match from the base white.

Go to a fiberglass supply store that sells gelcoat. They usually have a color chart to try and match it up. If not either they can custom make it on site or send out a chip the size of a quarter to have it made at the factory.
