225?
looking for mid-section gaskets. why they only show 150,175,2oo? what happened with 225? didnt they make a standard 225, not a promax? its for a 2pc plate, thanks.

There was no standard 2.5L 225, just a Promax. And it was a wonderful motor.

'80/'81 (crank rated) 2.4 only other than tha later PM..................

There was a early like mentioned above 2.4 225. It had 7 pedal reeds.

The parts catalog for your motor is on mercurymarine.com. Open the parts catalog. Click "OUTBOARD" Then click "2 STROKE CARB" Then scroll down and click on "V-225" Click "ARCHIVE CAT 90673" Then click on "MERC V-225"
