I don't like steering wheel mounted. Too hard to find in the heat of the moment, and wiring can be problematic with hydraulic steering. Blinker, or foot operated switches in my boats.
Check T-H marine, or Bob's machine. DD26 can bling out the common blinker style.

Th marine foot pedal is still listed, but sold out. My pedal is a homebrew with cheap momentary switches, as is my blinker trim.

The blinker trim Joe linked is going to be the most common. Dd26 makes billet covers, and knobs for this style. https://dd26fishing.com/products/dd2...ker-billet-box

Also found this paddle trim from uflex

I had the foot pedal trim, but it's worse than using the switch on the Merc throttle. Your (or my) feet just aren't as quick as my thumb is.

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

I've used foot trim buttons a few times over the years. I found myself hitting the trim by accident too many times. All my race boats had wheel mounted buttons. This pretty much the set up on most Tunnel boats. With hydraulic steering I think paddle trim is the way to go.

Thanks guys ! About the wiring , I have sea star on this laser and concerned with how it gets wired in and around the steering wheel hub without getting wrapped up . If anyone could please post a pic .

Blinker trim doesn't spin with the wheel. The wires usually are routed under the helm, then behind dash.

I dont see how this can work if you run a hub adapter as wheel attached to hub and hub onto shaft

The trim is attached to the helm pump with these 3 Phillips head screws.

Yes, but it requires shimming because the seastar helm is tapered and the uflex paddle mount is not.

Here is the set up in my Progression, the paddle trim is excellent. I wired it for left paddle motor trim, right is jack plate.

Wires are currently routed under the dash, will drill a hole for them eventually. Rigged the boat myself and installation was easy, used all Deutsch connectors.

Hard to see the helm in the second image but the paddle trim looks great and really cleans up the dash. Also the range of operation is great, your hand can be almost anywhere on the wheel and the paddles can still be operated.
