    30 Maelstrom 1 or 1

30 Maelstrom Cat 1 of 1 ever built

1984 Maelstrom Cat this was the 2nd boat ever built. The first was a 35' and the 2nd was this boat a 30' which raced under the name Sho Me. I have the original plans from Michael Peters Design from 1981. Boat comes with myco trailer and just installed a pair of Mercury 300xs. Engines have about 210 hours. Sportmasters have Mad efi billet seal kits. No pictures with the XS power yet but may be coming. Ran 96 on the limiters with 28 thru hubs. Should be right at 100 with cleavers. We have had a lot of fun with boat the last few years. My wife feels very safe at speed in rough lake water. The boat design was way ahead of its time. All the new widebody boats owe their success to Michael Peters for designing this a long time ago. The next step is paint and finish interior. I have so many projects and so little time to complete. Thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone wanted to pick up the torch.

Not sure what to ask for it so I will start with what I have in it, $48k

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya Gents. It gets a LOT of love at the docks. People do not look at it like like they do in a modern boat. They look at it like a classic car. Its just a cool old piece.
