The mythical Land and Sea Turbo kit

I've been collecting as much information as I can on the Land and Sea turbo they sold back in the 1980s. I think that was really more of a prestige product for Land and Sea rather than a mass-marketable engine upgrade. Did anybody here ever own one of these? By all accounts, it didn't come close to measuring up to the expectations surrounding it. Info I have states that the maximum useable boost pressure was less than 2 PSI; and even that prevented the reed valves from closing.

My catalog from 1992 has this photo but no other info, so I'm guessing that project was over by then.

Greg did you try the search button? lol Back in the day we had plenty of discussion on the turbo. I think there was a video link of the Hoss guys in an Allison laying some passes down on it, and the details to back it up.
