My issue isn’t with the technology, it’s with the price. I can buy V-4’s till the cows come home for about the price of rigging a new four stroke. I will also give the video guy a thumbs up for the Sparky’s sticker on his bench tool box.

Yeah, I’ll give you my antique 2 strokes and the deed for my house for one of your green motors.
Fk off already!I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

On the other hand, my 200XSROS and our 150HO Etec are the best outboards that we have ever had. Powerful, fast, efficient.

"How about this direct quote from Mercury's APX competition outboard brochure. Mercury claims a 90% reduction in emissions compared to legacy racing 2 stroke outboards."
This is an easy claim to make.......most 2 stroke legacy racing outboards mix oil at 16:1 ratio, I mixed at 28:1 in my SST45 rig.
I'll say this about the 4 stokes, I make a lot of money performing annual service on them, especially the ones run in salt water.

Gotta love those alligator harvesting shows on the History Channel with those guys running 150 & 225 HP Optimax 2 stroke motors with a tiller. Thats some cool sh*!. Not sure its possible with a 4 stroke. Lack of 2 strokes could result in a gator problem, EPA probably has a formula for the - LOL

Just more gay azz left wing bull **** . I do gotz some old froze up fissin mid sections, lower's and cowls. If any limp wristed tards want something to trade in , I'll take twice scrap weight for them ... then one of you commies can trade it in on one of them new mitsubishi zero's ..
So I just took this little honey I met, down to Cabo for a week. Partied hard ,, thru our I.D.'s in the ocean. Swam our way back into the world, they gave us free cell phones, pre paid credit cards and plane tickets back to Florida ... of course they didn't want to let us back in to Florida. Once we were finger printed / photo ID'd / S.S. and drivers license matched .. we were let back in. Thanks FJB, for another tax payers waste of money .. dumb azz.

I hope Trumps gets in and fixes your federal elections that can be manipulated by un-elected state officials..what kind of 3rd world country would put up with that?

Our elections are "decentralized"... did you notice how the Kremlin found undisclosed "errors" in all of the opposition candidates‘ paperwork? That's not supposed to happen.
The country's election system is highly decentralized. While the U.S. Constitution does set parameters for the election of federal officials, state law, not federal, regulates most aspects of elections in the U.S., including primary elections, the eligibility of voters (beyond the basic constitutional definition), the running of each state's electoral college, as well as the running of state and local elections. All elections—federal, state, and local—are administered by the individual states, with many aspects of the system's operations delegated to the county or local level.
I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.

I sold my 2 strokes a few years ago for a 300R 4 stroke on my pleasure boat (21 Lib). Did more boating and went faster than any 2 stroke on that boat, with full warranty. 450R on the new boat (22 Lib) this year. Couldn't give me an old 2 stroke to deal with. I did really enjoy the modified Etecs I ran for years, but the torque of the 4.6L V8 is unmatched, and not having to deal with nose cones cracking all the time is nice. No oil tanks, no premix crap, yadda yadda. Gas and go. If I need noise I can crank the stereo. I actually enjoy wrenching, but I LOVE boating.
