class, racing
Is there any race clubs in the southeast that currently offer's a class for V4 engines or has any type of class that an aluminum hull v4 boat might be competitive in? a little back story, i live in southeast Louisiana and have been tinkering with Yamaha v4's for a while now and have been looking for something a little more competitive than going down to the local sandbar. last year i tried pretty hard to do some politicking and get the local club here to start a v4 class and even had a few guys that would be interested but needless to say i was unsuccessful. any and all help/ direction pointing would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, chris

We ( down by the Antartic) have started an offshore 140hp class.
Any 140 other than a 135 merc. ( max of 4 cylinder)
Typically 140 yamaha and omc.
55mph.
Good cheap racing at sensible speeds.Last edited by NZ Sidewinder; 07-05-2025 at 04:00 PM.
