3 Liter Sportmaster 1.62 gears right hand

this is one of two gearcases from my 2016 300XS. It has been serviced on a regular basis and gear oil service every 15 to 20 hours or so. New propshaft a few years ago when I slung a blade. Has a Mad EFI shift shaft kit and gearcase has been recently serviced. Notice the one hole has been filled for greater pressure at increased engine height for higher water pressure.

$3,200.00 plus shipping in US I live on Lake Hartwell so hopefully can meet someone instead of shipping.
    thanks

did you notice any difference in plugging one of the intake cavities and any diferences in water pressure low and high speed. Please share...

I recently did this on a 4 hole CLE. I plugged the stbd one hole so it had 3 holes remaining. Cant say it was any faster (the clean water theory for the downstroke of the prop) but it did maintain water pressure pretty darn high up. It did have some odd water pressure characteristics, but overall I was happy with it. It DID improve water pressure over all even though it shouldn't really have cause I still had the high hole on the port side flowing. Must have to do with how the water comes off of the bottom of my boat (mirage).

Pretty much what this fella just stated. Something to do with the rotation of the prop. My water pressure was definitely higher at WOT and at max JP height.
