Construction is wood-free incorporating Divinycell composite coring. material in the hull for strength and hull and deck joined inside and out with strong fiberglass for for strength and seamless appearance.Boat is very well-mannered and fun and easy to drive, tracks straight with single engine and runs level in the rough. Holeshots are a blast with no bow rise. Very smooth and comfortable ride and even hold a conversation at WOT without shouting. This hull design has won numerous awards and was even banned by APBA for 5 years for being too fast (over 5 minute lead on competitors in each race). Earlier this month well respected racer Nigel Hook campaigned a Mannerfelt Bat Boat in the Rum Run race in theOcean Cup series Very well respected hull design. Incredibly fuel efficient I took the boat to the Clearwater races on Saturday practice day and received a number of thumbs up from some of the racers.
