Have a VERY CLEAN 1989 Mercury 200 hp 2.4 litre carb , 20 inch mid . It appears the power head was replaced by a new mercury power head prior to me owning it . Ive had it for 4 years on a stand , ran it it and that was it . Had the power head gone over and comp was perfect , I dont have the numbers but I will find paperwork . The lower unit is included , however has broken prop-shaft Swivel pin frozen . Was holding onto it as it is a simple carb 200

By "swivel pin frozen" do you mean the steering is frozen?

Well the engine is on a stand so there is no steering attached. The swivel pin frozen , I was told a little heat will take care of it . Will not tun side to side , frozen from non use

Heat won't fix it. It needs to come completely apart. About 8-10 hours work. Plus, a broken prop shaft. You are basically selling a used powerhead. Probably worth $500. Unfortunately, I have no interest in doing all that work. Thanks anyway.
