Removed vst need fuel pump.
Need to figure out my options for high pressure fuel pump. I would like to mount it in the fuel tank and will have to return fuel to tank from regulator bypass. If mounted in tank that would mean not using the other and the pulse fuel pump. What pump would you run ? Would like to hear all suggestions.

it is generally considered a bad idea to run high pressure feed and fuel return to and from an outboard. the hidden fuel lines and the amount of flexing needed make for a possibly dangerous condition.

I always like a Weldon at the tank, not in the tank, and had no delivery issues at all.

All good stuff! The promax set up looks good and with the exterior pump i can retain both fuel cells. I was thinking the in tank pump would last longer because it would run cooler but the exterior is definitely a better way. With the return hard pipe in the tank i was thinking of expanding the pipe size to drop the pressure running it horizontal before angling it to the bottom. My concerns are airating the fuel, introducing oxygen in the fuel. Most of the h.p. pumps are large volume= large return. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for all the info. I have never had a problem with the vst or components not functioning properly, mainly wanted to be able to tweek the fuel pressure. It will be a plus when the rebuild happens. All i am seeing so far are high volume pumps, so much more than i need.

Having an adjustable regulator with gauge really helps fine tuning it
