Good fiberglass guys in the Naples/swfl area for transom repair

Anyone know who can do the transom for me on this thing? Naples boat guy wont get back to me I don't think he does that type of work anymore. Tons of guys in Miami have quoted me anywhere from $4-7k... I would prefer to keep it more local and it would be nice to find a guy that speaks good English to do the job. Id like to get it done for less then 6k but if good work cost more I understand the price of everything is high these days. Any and all recommendations welcome.

Maybe since your question is not about engines, or about fiberglass technique, (there is a fiberglass section here for that), maybe try your luck asking over in the General section? :shrugs:

tarpon boat works. 2634 ne 9th av cape coral. he told me he could build me a console from scratch. which implies ability and time to get into a project. they build flats boats from scratch and it looked like they knew what they were doing. https://www.tarponboatworks.com/

Ask for a detailed plan of attack from anyone you pick, so you both understand what to expect. Looking at that boat, it will need a very substantial transom. Knees, and a side to side brace. 3'' thick with hi density core board or marine ply and vinylester resin. Tarpon boats place looks promising, should be capable.
