Evinrude Etec fuel filter
I have been buying filter 5011090 since we bought our 150HO in 2018, but this year there are not any available at local marinas or online. Crawley Marine's site says that this part has been replaced by 5012363. Is this correct?
For this season, I bought a Volvo Penta filter 3862228, which fits. Will this be OK?

...if (i don't know) someone knows if that filter is simply the same design as the old original omc fuel/water separator spin-on filter, just with an "updated" part number...then they can be used/bought at a much lower price. someone simply needs to verify this & your off to the races. it sure looks the same, thread size & all...
