I found the diamond marine link yesterday from some searching but no pics on my phone, will read it in more depth asap, hoping pics work on a computer!

yeah that T block is in all the other photos of bridgeports I have found.

Highly likely I don’t have power or something hooked up to the EFI box as it was halfway rigged on the boat when I bought it and I am still very green when it comes to outboards. I will try to trace that down somehow but is it normal for no fuel to be returning and the pump dead heading? Even with a small hole in the T I would think it would be bypassing SOME fuel. Looks like the regulator would be controlled by vacuum which it should have when cranking?

if I wanted to dump some fuel into it just to confirm it will fire manually, what’s the best way to do that with this intake setup? Like a primer or dumping fuel down the carb of a jetski essentially

The link I posted was giving me trouble with pics also. A little header popped up said "simplified view" when selected, the pics came up. In one photo it looks like a tee with a shrader valve (located in the short hose between rails) is missing in your set up. Dont know if that matters?
I'm not real familiar with this system, but I would surely think that when the pump runs, you should get fuel flowing past the regulator and returning. It sounds to me like you have a defective regulator, not the correct pump, obstruction, or the hoses reversed?
You should be able to hear, or feel the injectors clicking when you attempt to start.

Sprayed some fuel past the butterflies and she fired up! Regulator seems to be clogged but troubleshooting that now. Nice to hear it fire up!

Regulator is clogged and wasn’t letting fuel flow. I think the TINY hole in the T fitting was plugged from old gas. Rigged up a primer bulb to the fuel rail inlet and was getting fuel to the return line. Then clamped the return line and built up pressure and fired it up multiple times. Can’t really feel or hear the injectors but it fires up with fuel to the rail so I’m thinking they are ok. Was able to keep it running for 10-15sec by constantly squeezing the primer ball.

so would you guys try to find an oem Bosch replacement OR should I just go to an aftermarket online regulator? Is the vacuum line a reference to raise fuel pressure at higher throttle openings?

assumed plumbing was correct as I picked it up, well based on this photo he had the pressure & return lines swapped so fuel pump outlet / pressurized line was going to the back of the reg, hence it was dead heading the pump and nothing going to return. Was scratching my head how the system worked as plumbed but just saw this pic from diamond and realized it was plumbed backwards and it makes 1000% more sense now. Tested regulator with wire pressure and sure enough it holds to a certain point and then blows off as expected when reversed. Hopefully good to go tomorrow, going to replace all lines as well. Any recommendations on what to use for the small vac lines?

your "lay out" for fuel rail, reg and stuff is correct.... '90 would be correct for tha heads.. so yeah, '90.. still has tha analog stuff too.... don't remember tha ecu controllin' tha pump?.. seems like it came on with tha key?... maybe did "dead head" jus don't remember?.. most everything (all tha V6's) i owned i used 'lectric pump thru a remote relay (production or hi perf.).. jus something i had more faith in....

you can put a pressure gauge in tha short line between tha rail and tha "T"......... where tha schrader valve is

    it is a nice ride.............

Thank you! My thought for controlling the pump was to have the key on go through a switch on the dash, then to a relay to power the pump. That way if we’re sitting on the beach key on for stereo or anything I can turn the pump off. Although it’s sounding like with the Bridgeport 16a charging system we might not be running the stereo all that much anyway. Boat has dual batteries and one of them is most likely toast so I will probably add a larger deep cycle battery and an onboard charger and hopefully be good to go

close ta what we did.. we had a toggle switch (or bullet connector in purple feed) next to tha relay , but it was for workin' on tha thing and needed key on but no need for tha pump ta run.........

Also I've had a hard time starting mine when cold (first start) and had to prime it by squirting pre mix thru the hole in the butterfly to start engine first time then after it was even a little warm it would start. Found out on here you are suppose to be able to push key in when starting and it lets injector go to rich cycle when you start first time then let off key and it goes back to normal. Mine is sending the signal back to computer but have to chase it down why it's not sending the extra fuel to start. Maybe you have some of this going on too? Just a thought I'm learning from the gurus on here too.

I always pull the entire fuel rail with injectors and hit the key watch spray pattern, that way I know all injectors are firing and not going to grenade the block!

Yeahhhhh that’s pretty smart too! Hmm

interesting bugzilla, pretty confident my current scenario is just the fuel pump pressure side was routed to back side of regulator but will have to confirm tonight. Good to know about the enrichment deal like the carb 200 2.4L I had previously. I know all my Jetski’s in the past have loved extra fuel on that first start up for sure. Watching your water pressure thread as we’ll be wise I’m pretty sure mine is sitting on an old carved 150/175 mid & lower (have a sportmaster lower going on) but I’m sure cooling system is going to be my next step as mine is also routed different than other photos I have seen but one step at a time! Also guessing it has a tuner in the mid from a 150/175, how important is this?

I will do that tonight! Good call! Will likely send out injectors this winter to be cleaned / flowed but it sure would be nice to splash the boat soon to get a decent feel for it!

any reccomendations where to send injectors? Anybody good in SoCal by chance? Almost tempted to find someone familiar with these things down here and have them do a quick once over it to make sure I’m not missing something important before I run the thing more than just a cruise
