Prop suggestion's
I had a 40 hp 2 stroke on a 14' rib I owned since 2002. Time for a total rebuild.New tubes , gelcoat, motor. All went well and I upgraded to a new Yamaha F50.problem is I'm only getting 5000 rpm max. Cable is set correctly. SS 11 1/4x14 ss rapture. Some say 6000 max others say 5500 rpm eather way im down 500. Top speed was 33.6 looking for a good prop size.

Get a Mercury Nemesis 4 blade. Probably 11" pitch.

I finally got in touch with a Yamaha dealer and he recomends a 11 3/8 ×12"
