Looks like a Merc ad, smells like a Merc ad…
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I didn't know there was "world records" for these hops. Obviously I am in a different world...

N.Y, to Miami on I-95 is just shy of 1300 miles. @ 70 mph (speed limit) it's takes just over 21 hours to make the trip.
As the crow flies, (over open water) it's aprox. 200 miles shorter. Knock 3 hours off for that. Looks like 18 hours to me.
Not much in the way of flyin off the peaks .. but a whole lot of holdin their drinks up to the camera. Look at us .. we pitched a boo game .. got a deeper discount on this hooptie .. and I'm sure it's for sale .. or sold by now .. just look at all fake records it holds .. some poindexter has got to have it at any price ...

No landmark time stamped photos of any kind. Only videos are the purported 2nd start whatever that means, the st Augustine vid and a Miami live feed which means nothing. Suppose to start at 6 then moved to 3 am. Running in the Hudson at night after heavy rains making it perilous with floating debris and telephone pole size logs! Really??? Even with 2 night vision systems that is recipe for disaster. Claims they ran at times 30 miles offshore per his video! She stated she will be broadcasting live feed per her video! Everyone should be asking questions. Still photo of them after 417 miles purportedly in North Carolina in open sea looking fresh with no salt on windscreen? Why is his buddy reporting his their progress from a car? Why didn’t they post a live feed at the purported fuel stop in North Carolina? If they passed Atlantic City at 5 am that would make a great photo….where is this kind of proof?

I agree it is a Mercury ad, but I would not want to do it.

...mike & sarah have been doing video's for a couple years now. it started when they first got delivery of their new boat. they had never owned a boat anything like these newer cats perform, and where awestruck at what they could do with them. covering distance at high speeds got them pumped, cause they just couldn't believe there were boats like this. they were hooked. in the past they have done videos going to the bahamas from miami, from tampa down around the keys, and so on, just for the fun of it, staying at beautiful hotel marina's etc., and just showing how much fun they have doing it. guess this is a new thing for them, seeing how fast they can go from point A to point B...

Go buy yourselves some World Record Trophies to go along with all those records. Embroider some shirts too.
