I have to wonder. Is it a sanctioned record run or a make your own rule run?

They claim to have the fastest outboard cat. That is not true.

Question for Y’all. How come there was no real time video as promoted by the Howe’s and no real time GPS tracking for the public to confirm progress and validity? Several similar record attempts used at a minimum GPS tracking while being authenticated by a sanctioning body ie Stewart Hyman/Joey Impressia and Matthew Gordon’s attempt at the Long Island record run. I guess there is no helicopter coverage of any type either here. Gee this is interesting

Record or not ... Still considered the "worlds fasted outboard" ... cuz they said it on the internet .. so it's gotz to be true ...

Since the intercoastal runs from Maine to Miami, if it were a real record ... they could have ducked inside and put up with a few idle zones .. or since it was such an important event in history, they might - could have had stuey call the good governor and have him wave the speed limits .. wait, no stuey is a FJB supporter, scratch that ..

Rules : hull must be no more than 44' OAL with gaudy paint job. Twin, Sr. porky's only. Minimum 5 gallons of Margarita mix in gas cans stored on the back seat. Husband and wife teams only. Must advertise ill fated attempt on social media @ least a week in advance. No race suits, helmets or life vests permitted. Only golf clothes and topsiders allowed. Tracking devices strictly prohibited.
