White Crystals On ECU
I'm sure you guys have seen it, the white crystals on the back of ecu potting. I see it often on Yamahas, but I'm sure there are others.
What is it and why is it there? Does it affect anything?

I always figured it was the potting breaking down and letting moisture in. Lot of dissimilar metals in there to cause corrosion and surface salts.
