    Is my gearcase salvageable?

Something went pop on my torquemaster last night. I was told to look for holes or any bulges in the case and saw this bulge I have circled in the pic. Is the case shot, or does it need to be opened up to be determined?

That bulge suggests gears are blown and housing is junk.

Have you done an autopsy yet to see what killed the case. I’m sure it’s not just me that would like to see the guts.

From the location of the crack, I would guess the pinion gear broke.
