3.0 Merc crankshaft bearing numbers
The chubby crankshaft rollers fell everywhere in the garage - how many per bearing assembly are there ??
What is the part number for the chubby rollers in case I lost a few?
What is the part number for the thin metal retainer ring that goes around the completed bearing?
Cant find my answers in the manual or parts lookups !!

I can find the bearings - seems like the needles that make up the bearing are not sold separately, the clips for the bearings do not show in the diagram

A rod bearing includes the needles and the cages. Says you need 2 per rod. The wrist pin bearings come in packs of 200.

Expensive and not sold separately. You don’t wanna mix used bearings from another motor or mix bearings from another journal same motor. A lot of people say you don’t wanna run any old bearings. If crank comes out they say all new. I see near 100 bucks for 1 main in a 2.5.

You have the spacer-bearing holder. 22 to a side. So there should be 21 slots in each holder with 1 more roller between each holder. If 44 is correct number.

It's not like the connecting rod to crank shaft cage where I can count the slots in the outer pieces
Going to put it together see how it fits with the 44
I counted 44 myself and thats how many I see in pictures on line for new bearings for sale
