    v4 crossflow carbs wanted

Have an 82 115 that I converted to a 140 and would like to upgrade my carbs to the 140, 1 1/4 inch carbs. Anyone have a set I can rebuild?
    Thanks

Hey there, no such later V4 carb as 1-1/4" maybe you have 1-3/16" carbs now which are 85-100hp. You should already have 1-5/16" carbs on your 115, which would be the same as the 140 has. You might want to go to a v6 carb which are 1-3/8" but I never gained much doing that .... maybe gain a little top end at the expense of hole shot? I assume you have replaced the soft heads with hard and added the "bubble" exhaust?

    vintage,
Thanks for the response. I put the v6 1-3/8 on it years ago when I converted it from a 115 to 140. Trying to go back since now I would rather have better hole shot than high end. Heads, reeds, exhaust all converted as described in the old "Bass and Walleye" magazine article from many years ago. Opinion on whether or not it is worth it? 85 Laser bass boat.
    Thanks
