    Mercury/Mariner 150 trim pump 3 wire

I am in need of a trim pump for my 1993 Mariner, it has the square style 3 wire trim pump. Trying to not replace it with a Chinese one.

This is maybe not the one you want, but the ad lists all kinds of alternate part numbers from other manufacturers.

Merc doesn't make them anymore and the old ones that are still around are not very good. They replaced with a 2 wire unit that is still in production today. I would recommend one of those. ARCO makes them at a reasonable price and they are good units.

Going to 2 wire means you ditch the solenoids and put relays in instead. This is a much better system and will upgrade the motor to the current production unit. Its a little investment now but it will be worth while. Parts are easier to get and more reliable.

Ended up ordering an ARCO pump directly from them. They had the best reviews for trim pumps, since the factory no longer offers a new option.
