40-50 or 60 hp on a novuraina inflatable
Wel I finally spun an upper bearing on my 88' yam 40hp etlg. Like always looking to go a little faster. Looking to put it on a 14' novuraina rib. So I ask the question weight vs speed, hp vs speed. A friend put a 80 on same boat and only gained a few mph top end. So there must be a calculation to find optimum speed. Opinions welcome

Go with the biggest it will hold. You will never regret the increased torque as long as you don't go over its weight capability.
