    scrubbed the inside clean ..

the wood left on the flooring was screwed in , so after removing the screws, I glassed in the holes to prevent water from entering into foam core

the 5 inch square access that was made in the starboard rear was cut open to view the condition of the foam...luckily all is dry, the access was later glassed closed again

what helped in keeping the core dry is the original owner never kept the boat in the water thus no bottom paint and gelcoat is all original

Glad you are sealing things up as you find them. Take a good looks at the thru hull fittings. I was very happy I replaced mine in my ‘75 11 footer. It was a dry boat, yet the brass thru hull fitting were corroded from the inside. Pretty common from what I gathered. Nice boat!

    .

I'm a hog and currently working on 3 rebuilds, and the Whaler will not get completed if I don't concentrate on the Boston Whaler...which is what I will do, thus here are the latest
