That functionality is actually something that will automatically be implemented with Team Membership in the launch of the new S&F site, which should go live during the late summer. It will also be added to the current site here as well very soon. As many know, this site is long overdue for an overhaul, and more specifically, an entirely new site altogether. That's where a great deal of resources need to be diverted to. The new site will be far easier to use and have full Facebook/Instagram integration for people that wish to easily share content between sites.

Believe me, if there were a viable way to remove all ads for everybody (except our Supporting Vendors of course), I would. I don't like ads anymore than you all do. I watch the ads that Google inserts and as much as they've been badgering me to add pop-up type ads and other invasive banners, I flatly refuse. I try to keep the ads here as minimally invasive to the site experience as possible.

As always, I try to guide all decisions I make here based on your feedback. If anybody would like to become a Team Member, please know that it does help a great deal.

Also, as to not wastefully up the post count, can someone link me to the thread about the history of the Merc V6, that was started by the engineer in charge of the project? Using the search function is drawing a blank for me. I'm only about a third of the way through reading it and failed to bookmark it.

A business decision.

Do you continually receive AD revenue from the deep pockets of Google or, eliminate ADs and have membership subscriptions fees.

Surely, the later will have limited subscribers, compared to the former model open to the public masses.
Therefore, do you what the Site to have a Bigger theater, or an Exclusive club gathering?
