    2.5 XS optimax power heads

    I have two 2.5XS optimax power heads. These motors have a 3L Spline so you can use them on a 3L or use them on a 2.5 and utilize the adapter plates. You will need to have a 3L driveshaft spline. These powerheads make 247 hp and run on 91 octane.

    One has approx 100 hours 5500.00
    One has all new merc pistons and completely rebuilt by Troy Hannan at Supreme Marine (never started since) 6000.00

    Interesting... What RPM are these engines capable of? What all would be needed other than a custom driveshaft to mount this on a 2.5 Promax mid?

    6800RPM LIMITER. These would work nice in 15" mid with drivshaft cut and spined 3.0L. Joe's stuff is always top shelf.
