That wasn't what I was suggesting. I am retired from racing after devoting about 30 years to it.

From the APBA, The #96 boat was penalized for the following ; modified ECMS, the "boat owners" were not registered APBA members, and the course infraction on the first turn. The driver and throttleman are suspended for 60 days from the date of the infraction and they also received "DOUBLE YELLOW CARDS" and are on probation for the rest of the year.

500 miles in the last couple of days, lots of laughs, great running with friends, and NO race drama. 85 and low humidity at the lake "life is good".

#1) Modified ECM's .. humm did Muckury Racing, call the EPA, threaten to sue the boat owner, driver and throttle man. Launch a federal investigation. According to them, it a violation of federal emissions law .. proprietary software, etc.
Or do they only go after the little guys .. ???

#2) What if the boats title holder wasn't even there. Does he still have to belong to the APBA ??? Nothing but a money grab by a faltering organization with dwindling membership.
Do they carry personal and liability insurance on members while they are on site ???

#3) OK, they broke the rules in turn one. Don't do the crime if ya can't spare the time ..

    Chaz = axin, for a friend ..

Once again the "village idiot" proves he's worthy of the title ...

If your dumb azz would like to compare racing accomplishment's .. go ahead and start. Will be just one more thing you get Trumped at ...

I don't weld at night, I do more than enough every day .. now go prance around in the field and pick some dainty flowers ..

Typical illiterate .. learn to read, you'll see I asked what Muckery did or didn't do.
As far as "stock" show me there the 450 class is called "Stock 450" ..
I didn't ask what the rule book said either ...

Looks like your 0 for 3 ........ again

Go back and read post #56, you'll see where I answered your statements to the level they deserve.

I noticed that you didn't mention any racing accomplishments in you last post. Therefore, as I suspected, you have none, done none. Pretty typical of your kind, accuse someone of something you do yourself and if you have nothing to show, say the other person has nothing. In this case I have a whole room full of racing accolade's . As well as something you would never understand, multi-year sponsorship of the Jr. dragster program ... (that means I gave back to the sport)

And when your backed into your corner of "lost again" .. you cry Dadddyyyyyy

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we got sidetracked by the "VI" ... yet again

I'd still like to hear about the illegal PCM's ... ???

damn thats quite a bit. just curious, has anyone said anything about the 151 boat on the inside, completely blowing the corner and pushing the other boats wide? could that not also be a penalty for not holding their lane?

The inside boat owns the turn. Can go as wide as he wants. However that does risk someone diving under him and taking the inside lane.

just asking questions here so dont think im trying to argue a point. If they are supposed to hold their lane thru the corner, then why would lane 1 be different than any other lane. If the rule says you have to hold your lane, how is the guy in lane 1 running out to lane 4 or 5 acceptable, but the boat in lane 6 coming in tighter, not? I would agree that the boat in lane 1 would have more leeway at any other point in the race, other than the first set of corners. I am asking this from the perspective of someone who has been to many races, but never had the opportunity to be in a race.

That is a B.S. rule as well. At the lake race last year the guys with the inside lane blew the first turn and there was damage to the fleet along with a time penalty imposed to the second lane boat who actually went behind them and thru the turn. There is no reason the inside guy should be allowed to push the field.

It appears the war isn't settled with the 96 boat and the officials. He brushed a turn buoy and was given last place after a very strong run. It one thing to spear a marker or run it over but if there is no damage done then why ruin the race results and upset the apple cart. Oh', I almost forgot about the racers with resources that I mentioned earlier.

    Joe

The man with the gold makes the rules. The title sponsor always has had a say. Not sure what happened in this case. I like it when rules are followed and enforced.
The Super Cat class seems to follow the rules and get along. The Super Stock seems to have avoided drama. Both Classes put on a show.

I watch to enjoy the show. I'm not interested in politics of racing. I have been told more then once my opinion means nothing.

Racing is better then its been in a number of years. Cheers
    Jim
