Looking for unobtainium Merc 1000 BP

Probably the scarcest Merc racing motor ever made. Looking for one , basket case or not or anywhere in between. Always wanted one and I ain’t getting any younger. Appreciate any leads.

    thanks

I don't have any but just to be clear, are you looking for '68 cross flow, studs down shifter lowers stuff or the '69 super Direct charge studs up ssm stuff? Which were more scarce?

This what I have. Prop shaft froze up been soaking in PB blaster but still no movement. I'm heading over by someone next week who knows more about it then me. Hoping to get it a part to see if anything salvageable. I'm looking to sell but want to see what might have value or just junk. Also have clamp and swivel bracket

I bought a 68 BP mid and lower years ago that came out of the high desert in California. Guy said it was under shelter but the drain plug was out. Over the years with the sand and winds the whole gearcase was full of sand and unusable. hard to believe all that sand thru that little hole. Cannot remember who I sold it to. Mid was still good.
