You'd think someone would want a brand new 150 for $6k, considering a new 4 stroke is $13-$16k out the door w. tax! GLWS. Curious why a new crank? in my experience if the crank got trashed, rods and bearings did too.

Well, I'll tell ya Mr. Revenge,
YOUR experience, is NOT MY experience. A Brand new 4 stoke OB WILL cost you
high 13k and up, which MY math tells me that is more then double what I'm asking for my XR6.
And we all know that a 2 stoke will run circles around a 4 stoke of the same size.

As for the price I'm asking for this XR6, The cost of everything, from milk to eggs, to lumber and houses,
it ALL cost more these days, unless of course, you have been living under a rock the past 2 years!
As for the crank, I screwed up, this OB was to heavy for the boat I put it on, it sat to low in the water,
it sucked water into the bottom cylinder and trashed that rod/piston.
The crank was so rusted, it needed to be changed out. How this happened? I am still trying to figure that out.

I spend just over 5900 just for the rebuild, this does not including the lower half what I spent on it, not to mention what I originally paid for the OB.
I am already losing $ on this OB. Is that YOUR fault? NO, that's on me! Nobody in their right mind would pay 10k for this OB.
So now that you made me explain myself to YOU, The next time you want to troll someone's price on something someone is selling,
ya might want to just bit your tongue, and just move on. If your thinking of buying, then you have the right to ask.
But this is an obvious troll on your part with no intention to purchase.
    Good day to ya!
If you think this is fun, wait til next weekend!

I think you might have misread my post lol. Re-read what I wrote: that your motor is a good deal and a new 4 stroke is $13-$16k out the door. I run a 2 stroke outboard rebuild shop. I'm on your side.
