What motor did this come from? Trying to determine if it will go on my motor which is a 1984 235…? Thank you

I guess I was mistaken about the lower unit being a standard series, was told by another scream and fly guy that the lower unit was actually a gen I magnum with the low water pickup holes in the nose. Live and learn I guess. He suggested it should bring more that what I have it listed for, but I’m not going to change the asking price, maybe just let someone gat a little better deal.

Sorry missed your question, lower unit came from I can remember for sure but think it was 2005/06 225

Actually the local shop tells me it will fit if you swap out the drive shaft. You might check with your mechanic.
