3.4L Formula EFI : Brucato ACU Digital Mod motor(s) 350/400hp.

14 years ago I started to collect Cosworth and Mercury 3.4L Formula EFI engines.

The first 1 of them I built with UIM F1 World record holder Lee Davies - and Mercury dealer in Vancouver BC

This is a F-ing long story here - in short - The merc 3.4 L And EFI began prototype in the late 1970s and were produced through the mid 1980s. The EFI motors share identical EFI components with 2.4 Formula EFI and 2.5. EFI as well as S3000 V6 motors. Running on alcohol in the 80s they were recorded to make over 500hp.

Ron Anderson told me he figured - the engine I built would be more hp than his dyno could record (400hp plus) pump gas. This was a while ago - but I figure it was accurate-

the 3.4 engines also share parts with Merc 3.0 L engines (bearings) and the Rods from the 3.4L fit into certain mod 3.0L builds for a stroked motor. (Ask Marty Alexi)

Also I have 2 Formulas and 1 Cosworth and have assembled a fully running Brucato controlled 3.4 Formula with Cosworth internals. Long block. All brand new internals. Pistons x6 / rings / bearings

assembled a Cosworth 3.4 with Formula EFI front half - all new bearings - rings - etc.
    and a mass of parts - cranks - gaskets - Analog EFI computers - mids 2x 20” and 1x25

lower units - there is the tricky part. The race short shaft motors ran a speed master - (hard to find)so We made a plate to fit 3.0L sport master - fleet master and or Alpha 1 or Alpha SS gear cases for the engines. I also made a carbon fiber pan for
    the drop on cowls. (Huge)

I have saved these motors - to go in on a project - looking to donate my motors - with someone to restore the texmo moth.maybe a boat racer may come to the table or just a really nice guy. If someone wanted to restore the Texmo Moth (I have 2/3 of the power heads. (Not original T4 but can be made to perform better) Or sell the motors to someone who wants to restore a cigarette raider (Kevlar) there are rare Merc’s these are rare as it gets in Merc.

    $30,000.
