    1998 Mercury 2.5 200 EFI Timing

Trying to time a motor after oil pump delete. I cant get it to advance higher than 22 degrees. Ive never ran into this before. Any ideas? Bad Switchboxes?

Could be your trigger, or flywheel, is a bit different than most.
I think you can do a bit of grinding in order to get more throw out of your trigger.
Someone had the same problem a few months back, in the technical section.
