    2001 200 efi bogging out of the hole

    New to the forum and need some direction. My 200 efi bogs coming out of the hole….just sits there at 2000 rpm for as long as you want to stay on the throttle. If you just tap the trim switch up or down she lurches out of the hole and runs like a scalded dog……..checked battery voltage while running. 14.5. When you tap the switch it goes down to high 13’s and back to 14.5 and continues running well until I come off plane and attempt another hole shot. I pulled the fuses for both voltage regulators and it takes the trim switch out of the equation. It still bogs and stumbles for 30 seconds before getting up and going. But tapping the trim switch up or down has no affect on the motor with the regulator fuses out.

    Usually a bog is too much fuel or not enough. Sounds like you are over fueled IMO. Never heard of the trim doing anything like you describe. Do you have the black boxes removed?

    Procraft 200 super pro, merc 200 efi, 25p fury. It turns the prop no problem when running right.

    ya got something happenin' thats not supposed ta be (electric, wiring)..... trim ('lectrics) stuff SHOULD BE completely separate from anything else electrically... other than they all get batt. feed (positive) from same spot.. could be a ground issue with either and/or both circuits, trim and/or chargin'???

    I cleaned every ground on the motor and the battery. No change.

    If your sure your fuel system is legit?
    Things to check are.
    Spark, when the problem occurs.
    Trigger throw.
    Stator test with a dva.
    Trigger test with a dva.
    Bias test.
    Correct spark plugs?
    This is just a partial list.
