    2.4 / 2.5 2 Piece Adaptor Wing Plates

Does anyone have any wing plates to suit Mercury 2 piece exhaust plates.
    Motor is a standard 200hp.

I have installed Latham Plates years ago. The adapter plate needed to be machined to allow the steering plate to be sandwiched in and to capture a hold of the 3 large rear bolts.

...i remember those. did many of them on triples. man o man that was a long time ago. did so many, i always had new sets of extra adapters ready, that were already milled thinner, to simply swap out on new engine installs. latham also did the sandwich adapter plates milling as well, so that their thin stainless steering plates fit. can't remember if it was latham, or marine machine(mayfair steering/brett may) that came out with small stainless "L'' brackets later, that a new design s.s. steering plate then bolted to. installed many of those as well. hardin marine markets brett mays steering these days for him. think they still call it mayfair steering. you could call hardin marine in florida & ask them if they still make the "L" bracket, regular old 200 mercury steering plate system, or not...

I have a set I'm not parting with but could send you templates if you can make your own, probably better than shipping anyway! I think at one time those templates were available from merc. hiperf division! they might have been included in the offshore/modvp engine package literature!

I made an adapter plate to make it easier to mount wing plates with the alien cowl
You could do the same with the 3 bolts going down into the mid section and attach the wing plates later if you have trouble with the cowling height
And technically i had them made! After i made them out of wood

...hard to see/tell? are those regular merc v-6 powerhead adapter plates that just have the three rear adapter sandwich plate bolts, or are they the one piece offshore type?...

These are one piece plates but the idea is the same
If you have trouble with clearance you could get part of the 3 bolt holes machined down
