Port Wizard 2.5 99 series piston
Anyone have a lone port 99 series (the wizard std. piston that lightweight and has oil accumulator ring). Just looking for one piston. PM me or post a pic in this thread if you have one and how much it weighs without the wrist pin or rings.
Thank you!
Also looking for a mercury side pinned 899 series 2.5L piston STBD. side. The later model one that does not use a tanged circlip and uses the side-pin specific rings. Not looking for an early MAHLE side-pinned piston that used top-pin style rings to hold the locating pin in.

Yes. Does the other side of the piston look the same as the side you posted a pic of? If so (good useable) then I will take it. I was lookin for new but that piston looks ok...so I will gamble on it. I assume the pin is tight and not excessively worn, and the wrist pin circlip grooves are good? Pm me or text me or call 510-418-4911.

I sent you money via venmo and you said you shipped it...then you got it back cause you sent it to the wrong address and then you were gonna ship it back out to me...I texted you a few times but never heard back.

Exactly what happened! Scammers all over this site and any site. You need to make sure to pay with payment protection unless you can confirm venmo or friends and family with someone that many have done business with. Be careful. I always ask before I even send my shipping address if they accept paypal and if they don't I need to talk to them on the phone, I need to confirm they are not a scammer via seeing if they post alot, if they have sold before, if they have friends on FB that I have. Too many scammers!

Yeah some lazy fool was sitting on his computer watching this and figured he could make some quick money. I typically don't send money venmo or paypal or any of that stuff cause I don't know how to do it so I have to bug my wife to send it for me. Its also not secure. But just a couple hundred I wasn't worried about it; I trusted Jeff and so what if I lost 180...
Just a few minutes after I commented to Jeff to text or call me about how to pay I got a text saying he was contacting me about the wizard 99 series port piston and rod and to just send over 180 on venmo...so I did. Not at all thinking that someone else was watching this so closely and was waiting to jump in for only a couple hundred bucks. True low-lifes.
I don't care about the money, I just care about people and their ways (good and bad). This is sad that this happens. I would never be that careless on big $ stuff...but I also didn't think I needed to be careful on small $ stuff. Who is that desperate for a $180 that they will scan the computer day in and day out for a chance at scamming someone?
