Sportmaster Driveshaft part #

I have two part numbers for the sportmaster driveshaft

I need one for a standard rotation 15''

848449A4
or
848449A5

Not sure of the difference?

848449A5 is 20"
LH and RH use the same driveshaft.
I think I have 4 good used if you are looking for a used one.
Also, you probably know this, but getting a 3.0L shaft new and having it cut and resplined costs damn near half of a new 2.5L 15" shaft.

2.5 and 3.0 Sportmasters use different waterpumps. In your valued experience, can the 3.0 driveshaft be modded to accomodate the smaller 2.5 SM water pump.?
Which 3.0 driveshaft length (number) would you recommend to create a 20" 2.5 ltr Sportmaster deiveshaft, considering resplining requirement?

A 25” dual bearing 3.0 driveshaft is part number 881942. Chris Carson cuts and resplines them for about $175. He also cuts the water pump keyway a little longer or something so it works just fine in the 2.5 sporty
