I was thinking more of the Star Trek warp speed and their “inertial damping” stuff. To keep the gravity stable through the whole flight with a coast you would need a combination of thrust and spin. If you had enough fuel you could go up at constant one g to the flip point and then down at one g. Lots to keep you occupied thinking about it.

Why would you stay at only a constant g accel... It would be considerably more over a short distance to achieve the constant rate of travel needed .

As I understand, the Earth moves at 67,000 miles an hour through space yet we don’t go flying off or turn to goo.
If people keep thinking something is impossible, it will be. I’m quite certain our civilization has yet to discover many mysteries of the universe. But in mankind’s defense, we are able to take the image of a human and make it fly invisibly through the air and present it at many different places in the world.

"The technology and knowledge of a civilization only 1,000 years ahead of us could be as shocking to us as our world would be to a medieval person. A civilization 1 million years ahead of us might be as incomprehensible to us as human culture is to chimpanzees. And Planet X is 3.4 billion years ahead of us…" except from the Fermi Paradox article.
~~~~~
Therefore, considering the above. Advanced beings visiting our planet and solar system would have to be highly moral (notwithstanding the technical or life form) to collectively in peaceful habitat achieve interstellar travel.
Reflecting on the high morals of the interstellar visitors, then one would ask how the visitors could introduce themselves publicly, without incurring a Fright and Fight defensive reaction by mortals' political/military/religious/scientific/culture on earth.
If the mortals on earth are not receptive to a cosmic family, then surely the cosmic visitors are going to be merely observers. And it seems, they are interested in observing are destructive capabilities, i.e., military activities. A military symbol of earth's moral level towards humanity (let alone visitors).
Suppose Hiroshima was the "event" they.came to investigate. Figure 5-6 years for the signal to arrive, 50 years to get here plus, in theory it would take 5-6 years for them.to.send a message home... plus 50-60 years for the.reinforcements to.arrive.
So, 1950 they finally see the signature of the nuclear explosion, 2000 the scouts arrive, 2005 the message that we're "tasty" and plentiful arrives home... 2055 the invasion begins!
I should be long gone by then, good luck to the rest of you young guys!Let's go Brandon!
Dave, you’re thinking about technology as we know it or understand it.
During the Civil war they would cut your arm or leg off for what is simple chit today
In 200 years we have made a few accomplishments in Science and medicine
While it is still so easy to deceive the common man.
Lack of critical thinking
What is meant by critically thinking?
Critical thinking is a kind of thinking in which you question, analyse, interpret, evaluate and make a judgement about what you read, hear, say, or write. The term critical comes from the Greek word kritikos meaning “able to judge or discern”.
We have invented the world WE see
The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.
