    Yep, 5 pin connectors. The older opti's had the coil and igniter set up with 3 pins. Those coils look like the same style coils housing, potting, and mounting. Might just buy one to see what it does. Thanks for the info David...

    The original #8moo42381 coils work good. I just bought one from e-bay and she fired right up and idles smooth. Has had a slight miss at idle. Engine had one 2-3 yo dealer installed coil #8moo47457 and I replaced it with the e-bay one. Big improvement! I would like to find a few more and will gladly buy them. I paid 40 bucks for the coil and a good plug wire. Notice the one I removed has just one number different from the no - go coils. It seems they have been changing the coils slowly to the only one they offer now for the opti's. They offer one coil for ANY opti you may have. Has gone very generic, part wise.
