    2.4L pistons

Who has built a fast 2.4L recently and used new pistons?
I took apart my Bridgeport that consistently spins up to 8k on gas (no additional injection). Just doing a normal service rebuild, I did not suspect anything wrong. However, a locating pin had walked itself up and almost through the deck. I tore it down just in time

So...I was totally happy with my forged MAHLE pistons that were in it and I would buy another brand new set if they still sold them. I'd drop 2k on a set of pistons for it if I knew they would be the quality of the old MAHLEs

That being said, what is the best 2.4 piston on the market right now? I can have the bridge cooling land milled in it, so it doesn't have to be BP specific, but just a good fingerport 2.4 piston.

Last I opened their website they had...and last I opened their website they had only one model of 2.5L pistons. Now they got 3 models of 2.5 pistons listed on their website and no 2.4. I can still find some wizard 2.4 pistons on ebay but I wanted to know if anyone has tried the 2.4L wizards??? Are they top pinned out of the box like the 2.5s or no? I recall in the past seeing someone somewhere advertising 2.4L pistons that came with a flat bridge milled in them and top pinned right out of the box, but I can't find what mfr that was now.

I wouldn't hesitate to use Wiseco pistons in any motor, but after reading your post... I would contact Wizard to see if they have or can get 2.4L pistons.

They have a German-made, forged, top-pinned 2.5L racing piston that's probably(?) made by Mahle? https://wizardraceshop.com/128-serie...ercury-piston/

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

Anyone use the 2.4 wizard? I can see in the pro marine pic that it is top pinned which is great. Anyone know if it already has the flat bridge cooling land milled?
