Need GPS recommendation
I'm looking for a recommendation for a dash mount GPS for my go-fast boat. Don't need fishfinder.
Prefer color display, horizontal rectangle over vertical, and built in antenna. Has to be low and close to the dash in a bracket.
I'm thinking maybe a Lowrance Reveal 5 or Garmin Striker 5.
What would you recommend?\\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\///

I like the Garmin 943XSV. It's all touch screen so to me it looks cleaner on a flush mount system. I also find 5" is just too small I would go to a 7 or 9". I moved the glove box below where it currently is mounted and mounted the Garmin in the glove box space on the Grandsport.

If you're in the market for a dash mount GPS for your go-fast boat, you're in luck. There are several great options to choose from, depending on your needs and preferences.
If you don't need a fishfinder, the Lowrance Reveal 5 or Garmin Striker 5 are both solid choices. Both offer a color display and built-in antenna, and can be mounted low and close to the dash in a bracket. However, if you're looking for more advanced features, you may want to consider the Garmin GPSMAP 742xs or the Simrad GO7 XSE. Both of these options offer larger screens, more detailed mapping capabilities, and the ability to connect to other devices such as radar or sonar. Ultimately, the best choice will depend on your specific needs and budget. Do some research, read reviews, and compare features to find the GPS that's right for you and your go-fast boat. And don't forget to document your decision-making process and eventual purchase in your social media content calendar to keep your followers engaged and informed.Last edited by takuma; 05-14-2023 at 03:56 AM.
