Correct Flo-Torque kit for a 2.5L 280 Sportmaster. It's the original lower on a 2001 motor.

I have a Hill Drag 4 I want to try out.

It's a standard shaft, not fat. It came to me with a Hoss HPD with a pressed in hub and I bought a Hydromotive T4X with the same that I have been running on it.

OK let me ask this a different way... I have enough Flo-Torque hubs to fit a dozen motors. Mostly Mercury but I have a set for twin Yamaha's and a set for twin Suzuki's...

They're all plastic inserts. Can I use a plastic insert on a motor with this much go? Without risking damage to the lower or the prop?

My 280 is fat shaft but I believe you're fine to run any of the small shaft Flo torq hubs you already have.
