Hi Cuda, 120, look out! You'll go back, but maybe keep it under 50.

That was probably the best Illinois River Run of them all. Must have been 50 boats that day. Is that the day wild Bill put on a show. BTW...hope you are doing well Jeff. Bought me another Allison and rumor has it there may be a few more hotrods in the area again so maybe another run?

    Things are heating up.
Thanks to a lead from a poster (David), I just got off the phone with John Spaeth at Hydrostream Boats. To my surprise he can build an SRV, like this baby. https://www.screamandfly.com/attachm...2&d=1079450805
Going to go up an pay him a visit, the hook might just be set.

I guess I should follow suit and list some of the boats in my life, will start off with the first two.

I get it. I often think of selling mine, but when I go out on her, I can’t let her go yet.

I had forgotten about the SRV. I think the fastest of John's SRVs is Ken's. Ken is here sometimes, but not recently. He is at 114 mph with his SRV/DBR300XS. How fast do you want to go? I think RBT was the original owner of the gray one pictured.

Our place would be a 5 minute detour on your way to John's. Please stop by if you go to Brechin. We can look at my SS2000 and our J-Craft and imagine summer.

Part of getting older is knowing my limits. My vision and reaction time has a little rust on it.
