    STUNNING!

    Love the colors.

I heard through the grape vine that you think there’s a 140 in it?
Did I miss that in this thread Joe.

BTW, just received “Rich dad poor dad”.
Thank you for the recommendation Joe, I love to learn.

The boat is increasingly faster as we continue to play with set up and propellers. All of the stars lined up on this project thanks to close friends and their superior knowledge and capabilities to make changes to the bottom etc. Kory obviously has picked up the feel and ability to keep the boat straight but loose. I can NOT run the boat solo and obtain the big numbers due to the fact that water pressure comes and goes as we go through mph increases. We are constantly moving the motors until its North of 130 and then it seems to have its highest lift point set. The faster you go, the higher the transom lifts so we have to be dropping the motors to maintain pressure. This is one of our best pass results in just over a mile stretch. If you watch the pass clip above, you can see that we went through the traps very slowly due to the short propeller and I didn't want to be maxed much before the 3/4 mark. We will be better prepared this year and go through at 30 mph "max allowed" which should give is another four mph in the 3/4 course. I would think a 132 or 133 pass will take everything being 100%.

If you are in an outboard boat and see us out on the lake, pull up with us. We would love to dance... Remember that an inboard boat just starts to get happy at these speeds--this is only fast to us little guys who can't afford to run in the big league.

And to ksfastman, yrs ago they brought a turbine powered Unlimited Hydro, I think to be the first boat into the 200 club.

I remember the Bud boat running 202/203 or similar and I think was fastest that yr.

Then the big cats started showing up, and we’re 20 mph faster in a yr or two.

The turbines remind of the Unlimiteds.
Havent watched a race since they showed up.

You want ultimate top end, there you go.

Personally, I’d rather see/hear, twin, full zoot big blocks at 7500 and going 190!

I'm the same, but with outboards...two stroke outboards. I was raised/exposed to inboards, so I'm not sure when/where the love affair with OB's manifested lol. Same with hulls, had a bunch of tunnels, couple of mod vp's and a cat at the moment...somewhere along the way a hydro caught my eye and whispered in my ear. I've had OB drag hydro's, but have always thought I'd love to have a large "Lake Hydro" for lack of better terminology.

I saw the turbine hydros run at Detroit a few times. It was a good show, even with less noise. And they are not silent. We could hear them from our yard, a mile away.
