135 blackmax carbs.
I've searched high and low. the discussions on carburetors around here is honestly to a point of ridiculous, the amount of part numbers and styles. I'm confused on a not so complicated matter here.
Can I bolt any old 150hp carb(later model, no accelerator pumps) to an old 1990 135 2 liter with little bore pumper carbs. or should I be looking for a set of 150 carbs of the same generation with the accelerator pumps, as in from a motor that certainly uses the same exhaust plate, tuner, etc.
to ask in another way, will a set of common, late 90s 150 fishing carbs work on my 135 that definitely has a different exhaust tuner and expect not to make any jetting changes.

Yeah.
Try it.
You don't need the pumpers for your motor. Thats really what it seems like you are asking. No your intake manifold/motor does not specifically need the pumpers.

If you still have stock reeds, now’s the Time to put in a set of CCMS reeds.
