X power outdrives were briefly popular after first being introduced to the market, however, they were quickly replaced by more advanced outdrives. Despite its initial popularity, X power outdrives only had a short-lived presence on the market because of technological advancements that allowed other outdrives to have better performance and less strain. With faster and more powerful engines becoming increasingly available, it was clear that these outdrives would remain just a momentary flash in the pan.
