Nick Johnson
Think he went by njj502. Working remotely in Tampa FL he jumped over a small bush and landed wrong breaking his leg just below the knee. He has had surgery and his wife was flying down yesterday. Gonna be a long recovery with no weight on leg for 3 months.

Geez, I'm gonna stick to safe activities like driving boats at excessive speed. No jumping for me

Ya never know what life will throw at you.
If someone from Canadian Health services shows up in your room and offers you MAID tell them NO. They aren't there to clean your room.
In all seriousness I hope you have a speedy and easy recovery Nick. I'll put you in my prayers.Last edited by CDave; 01-27-2023 at 05:53 PM.

Should be home this afternoon. I built him a ramp so we could get him in and out of the house. This is going to be a tough one for Nick. Like many of us he does not sit still real well and he has a new boat in the shop in pieces with no interior and up on jack stands.

Thanks, Guys. You don’t know how good ya got it till you’re up sh*t creek without a paddle. I’ve always tried to be a genuine, honest, straightforward man going out of my way to help others. It’s come full circle and then some. Not only from friends & my fellow boater trash but my Caterpillar Inc family has been amazing. One of my coworkers of 22 years flew down Friday to help me get home. My boss told him and the wife to just book the travel and get me home. Send the bill to his account. Amazing support.
What sucks is the only time I sit still is in bed and on the crapper. Gonna be REAL hard to get used to everyone helping me do anything at all.
